To Qatar from Riyadh: Modern Doha, Waterparks, Beaches and Al-Ahsa Oasis

Today, your goal is to drive 414 kilometres and reach the largest oasis in the world - Al-Ahsa. On the way to it, make a stop at the beautiful stone remnant of Judah Thumb, which is also nicknamed Devil's Thumb in the USA because of its gigantism and similarity to the Devil's Tower. Upon arrival in Al-Hofuf, go to explore the city, its old market and mosques. Your evening will end with a visit to the heritage village with a restaurant with national cuisine.

This day you will drive from the world's largest oasis Al-Aqsa to Doha, the capital of Qatar. First, in the city of Al-Khufuf, you will see incredible mountain formations (including the so-called "floating stones"), after crossing the border with Qatar, a miracle awaits you in the desert - the Desert Falls Water Park. Enjoy the water slides, swim in the Arabian Gulf, enjoy the fine cuisine of local restaurants. You will be in Doha later in the evening.

A full day in Qatar's capital, Doha, will give you a taste of the rich culture and history that this country has to offer. The kingdom became one of the most prosperous countries in the world. To truly understand Qatar, start from the beginning at the Qatar National Museum. Their multimedia exhibit will take you through the formation of the kingdom and how it's viewed currently. After that, go to the historical centre of Doha, where you will see the ancient market, the museum of slavery, and wander through the intricate streets of the old city. Finish your day at the Gondolia Amusement Park, where there will be a lot of entertainment for your whole family.

Visit the magnificent Barzani Towers (reconstruction of defensive observation towers) and the Sheikh Faisal Museum - during his long life he collected a range of cars and gifts, and now you have the opportunity to see a unique collection.

Today you leave the capital of Qatar and follow the north of the country to a beautiful snow-white beach with azure water. In the morning, you will visit the Musheireb Enrichment Centre, where you will be able to see the installation of how the Dose has changed over the past decades - from a small town to a modern megalopolis. To get acquainted with the ordinary life of the Qataris, you will stop in the fishing town of Al-Khor, where, of course, you can taste the freshest grilled fish. Already on the northern coast of the country, you can learn kitesurfing or swim in the pool on the shores of the Arabian Gulf.
